Here she is! Will write more on the birth story once I feel better
These 9 months passed very quickly….it’s so fast that I think I will miss the kicks in the stomach. Yes, it’s tiring, it’s getting harder to sleep, it’s heavier to move around…but I will definitely miss these 9 months (or rather 5 months ‘cos the All-day sickness months are really not something that I will miss)…and the many privileges that I was given :p
Checking in to the hospital this midnight..hope everything will be smooth.
Eva, we will see you soon!
After the last movie experience of Toy Story 3, we thought that it’s time to bring Dawn to the movies again. This time, she said that she wants to watch Rango, after watching the advertisement on Okto.
And so we brought her last Saturday. Chose the movie timing to be 7pm so that she can be rested from her nap and full from her dinner.
Our tickets – ANZ has a good promotion where each ticket is only $8.50 for weekends and you can still get the discount when making internet booking! Most of the credit card promotions are not valid using internet booking. The discount will be credited in the next bill.
Look! Dawn and Rango! My girl definitely look better than the lizard.
Dawn on her booster seat.
But the show is alittle boring lah..For us, we felt that it’s too predictable. For Dawn, she started to ask “finishing soon?” 40 mins to the show…
It was different from watching Toy Story 3 where her eyes were fixed on Woody and got real excited when the toys were about to be burnt. Rango doesn’t make her wants to stay in the cinema..but she still did because she had promised us before we bought the tickets. For that, I really think that she’s a good girl!
We noticed that the Skinny Pizza at Raffles City is always packed. And so we thought it must be something so nice that we have to try too!
The pizza are served in a big pan, the crust is thin and it has alot of vegetables on top of the pizza. We do not quite like it as we still prefer the normal pizza. Furthermore, the pizza has to eat while it’s hot or it became soggy. It’s quite challenging to have the pizza while it’s hot with a kid around.
We also order the mini burgers. Though that Dawn will like it…
But the meat was overcooked…
I think we won’t visit this again. The service is great, but the food is not worth the price.
It’s a bliss to have things to enjoy together. No words need to be spoken, nor persuasion to force the person into it. It’s just like…you know me and I know you.
The always welcomed Gyu Kaku dinner…where we will enjoyed the meat with the beer. It was 9 months since I have that beer, he acknowledged that he miss the company..hang on there baby, soon soon
The hearty breakfast or teatime in Starbucks….oh, how I love the food, the coffee and the talks that we can engaged in.
Even though we may prefer different things at times, we still can enjoy together…like we picked these drinks from a supermarket and we simply love the moments where we each enjoyed our drinks together.
Very blissful, very indeed
With less than a month for the arrival, our preparations are quite on track (except for my work ><;).
This is my hospital bag. This sweet pinkish bag was given by my 2nd sister before Dawn was due. Used it for my hospital bag then, and I thought it’s nice to re-use again. It can contain alot of stuff!
Here’s all the stuff inside now. There are still a couple of things not in yet, but they can only be packed in on that faithful day.
So what are the things to bring? Of ‘cos baby home-coming clothes + mittens + booties + a receiving blanket (can use a cloth nappy cloth instead):
My own home-coming clothes + the front button pajamas which I need to wear in the hospital for breast-feeding:
And the rest of the things such as disposable panties for pregnant mothers, pads (which I am using Sofy night pads instead of those loop pads), my faithful moisturiser, some sample packs of nipple cream (just incase of cracks after breastfeeding), some disposable breast pads… still lacking my facial stuff which can only be packed on the day.
I also drew a note and paste it at one of the prominent place to remind us of some other things which we still need to pack in before we head to the hospital, things such as gynea card, camera, phone charger etc
And the bag is now siting at the easy-reach place in case I need to leave soon…
Dear was still keeping his cool when I packed the stuff….until the last gynea visit we went last Tuesday where the gynea expressed concern that I had quite a number of contractions during the CTG check….. It was funny to hear him ask, the bag is ready? What else to pack? etc haha!
Knowing that Junior 2 is making her appearance soon, we decided to finish up our unfinished businesses. And one of it was to go for the English Afternoon Tea at Shangri-La Hotel. 4 months ago we went to our afternoon tea at Goodwood Park Hotel, and I know Dear wants to try out the one in Shang.
And so we decided to go for the English Afternoon Tea after his Driving test. The thought was, if he fail the test, it will be a consolation for him and if he pass, it’s a celebration!
And it’s a celebration!
Very nice setup at the table…and nice comfy sofa chairs.
Pretty tea sets! I think we should invest in a pretty tea set next time when our house is ready.
Sugar in individual packet..gave me a surprise when I open it..seldom see individual packed sugar.
We chose the English afternoon tea which comes with a choice of 1 tea or coffee. As usual, I chose the Chamomile Tea.
Our 3-tier arrives…yummy!
And of ‘cos I love the 1st tier the most. I was actually craving for tuna recently…don’t know why, this Junior 2 really has a mind of her own.
Scones! Dear’s favourite! And I must say they are nice! This is the 1st scone that I commented nice as the rest I tasted elsewhere were too dry to my liking. And these scones has a very nice buttery taste to it!
Didn’t quite like the sweets. In fact, only like the custard puff. Dear likes the fruit cake. The brownie is not to the standard and the tart is pineapple I think. Or maybe I am not a sweets person to begin with.
Very nice and peaceful afternoon. But I was amazed with the table beside us. There were 2 ladies, and they can finish everything from the 3-tier + a refill; which means 6 plates! :0 Amazing!
