The other day while flipping through Simply Her, I saw a letter submitted by a father.  His words are so heartfelt, especially the part about staying up whole night when the child was having fever. Bravo to this father!

I got a Birthday card from a Mothers’ club, inside it was written :

A Mother’s love is so strong,
it begins before her child is born,
and it lasts for a lifetime long,
for the child she’s so fond.

On this day,
We celebrate your birth,
for there’s none
like a mother’s love!

What’s life? Someone asked me.

My reply:

Life is accepting the things that you can’t change,

treasuring the times that bring you smiles,

getting upset with things that hurt you,

and getting happy with things that you love.

Simply put, life is your time on earth,

it comprises of all emotions but you can decide to have more time

spent on being happy than to be sad,

peace than to be angry

and enjoying being with people who can bring you smiles.

Something which sprang me off before going to the hospital…
